Speech Language Pathologist
Summer Stout-Bloyer M.S. CCC-SLP, CCTS, CCRS, CASDS
My name is Summer Stout-Bloyer.
I have been a practicing Speech Language Pathologist for a little over a decade. I have worked in many settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities, Inpatient
Rehabilitation Hospitals, school districts, home health and private practice.
I have a Clinical Trauma Specialist Certification, Board Certified Clinical Trauma Therapy Certification and a Board Certified Autism Spectrum Specialist Certification.
Most recently, I have been traveling to Belize every
summer to set up a pediatric and adult clinic with 9 - 13 SLP students. During the summer of 2024, I will be taking students and interns to Bulgaria.
I have been creating Continuing Education Courses for SLP’s OT’s, PT’s and Special Education
teachers and administration lately as well and I find that to be a very creative outlet.
I lecture and supervise students as we do a
therapy intensive clinic for underserved countries
and have limited access to speech and language services.
I have worked in an inclusive model as well as a program model in two different school districts, serving Autistic children and young adults for over a decade.
I have been supervising Speech Language Pathology Assistants in home health and in the school setting for several years.
I am passionate about diagnostics, AAC, Autism, mentoring and supervising. I love learning new things and solving challenging problems.
I have four children who are amazing and I am loving their teenage years. I also love yoga, hiking, traveling, dancing and scuba diving!
